Annual Events

The Horticulture Center strives to establish and increase its programming for students, the Illinois State University community and residents of McLean County as it grows. The following is a schedule of the Center's activities.

Summer

Come learn with us! The Horticulture Center participates in College for Youth, which offers diverse educational programming to local children during the summer months.

Fall

Come to our Autumnal Festival!

Come plant a prairie! As part of the implementation of the master design for the Horticulture Center, the area designated for wet and dry prairie will be seeded in the fall with prairie forbs and grasses. This will be an annual event as we fill in the prairie from year to year.
