Gardens

The Horticulture Center's conceptual design has many gardens on the premises. The gardens offer many opportunities for Illinois State University and the community.

Some of the possible gardens include:

• Trial Gardens used for faculty research
• The Children's Garden
• Native Gardens
• Perennial Gardens
• Viburnum Walk
• Literary Gardens
• Demonstration Gardens, which may include a diverse array of plants and themes, such as:
  • An All-American Selection Garden
  • A Medicinal Garden
  • A Water Garden
